iRadTech Lite 5.0

The iRadTech Lite application for iPhone and iPad offers a free demonstration of iRadTech, a comprehensive radiographic positioning guide. This version includes the following key features:

• Functions comparably to a pocket guide or reference booklet for x-ray procedures.
• Contains detailed instructions for six radiographic positions designed for demo purposes, with the full app providing access to over 200 positions. Each set of instructions covers:
  1. Suggested technical factors
  2. Image receptor size and orientation
  3. Patient and part positioning
  4. Respiration instructions
  5. Central ray entrance/exit points and angulation
  6. Image quality points
  7. Structures demonstrated
• Includes representative radiographic images that can be enlarged for detailed examination.
• Features an enlargable photograph of a properly positioned human model, illustrating the correctly collimated area of interest alongside the central ray entry point.
• Each position is accompanied by a helpful NOTE tab to save techniques, special terms, or relevant information.
• A search function is integrated to locate terms within position titles and instructions efficiently.
• The “My Routines” function enables users to group selected positions into saved routines.
• The “My Notes” feature allows saving additional notes not directly related to a specific position.
• The app is developed according to ARRT Content Specifications, covering nearly all ARRT entry-level radiographic positions, including “OPTIONAL” positions that may be utilized in clinical practice.
